Just ate a Sicilian caponata

A sicilian caponata with herbed pork and garlicky ciabatta.

I’ve had my tea, which was a Sicilian caponata with herbed pork and garlicky ciabatta. The food was great, although my dad decided to just place the ciabatta atop some garlic bread, since he considered making the ciabatta garlicky to be too fiddly and he wanted to do it before the 1,000th anniversary of the Battle of Hastings on October 14th, 2066. The food was great, although I was already familiar with the taste of ciabatta and of garlic bread. I’ve eaten garlic bread for years. The meal itself was amazing. I broke up the ciabatta into bits and dipped it into the sauce or whatever it was that was on the plate, and it improved the flavour of the ciabatta.
