Me and my dad have gone down the pub and said I’m buying the first round, which I did to the tune of £5.20. After a pint, my dad asked if I wanted a pint or a half-pint of Fosters. I replied saying half-pint and my dad, being as old as the Ottoman Empire, said that only girls have half-pints.
I would fucking think so, Dad. I am, after all, your daughter.
I helped my dad deliver some leaflets earlier, and it was exhausting. My dad said that me and him managed to only deliver 280 leaflets between us today, which is less than what my dad would have hoped to achieve for today. Right now, I am exhausted. The highlight of delivering was coming upon a lamppost that had fallen over. Naturally, knowing me, I told my dad that the reason the lamppost fell over was because he had been eating too many baked beans and ended up breaking wind next to it, causing it to fall over. The tape around the lamppost only made it look like it had visited the hospital and the wounds were covered up so they could heal properly over time. Right now, I’m browsing the internet and I found a Tumblr post that I rather like that was posted by a Tumblr user by the name of weepycat.
I went and had some lunch earlier. Fortunately, an episode of Star Trek: Voyager was on on the TV, so I watched it. It was that episode where Captain Janeway is one ruthless motherfucker. My dad said that in less than an hour, me and him will be delivering leaflets somewhere, hoping to deliver 300 to 400 in a day with the aid of a stick.
My dad’s friend picked up the dog earlier, so I am able to go back upstairs now. I’ll be getting myself my lunch soon, after which, my dad says I’ll be helping him deliver leaflets for an hour or two. After that, I’ll probably do some stuff on this blog.
I am awake. I woke up at around 7:30am [which in my opinion is ludicrously early] and for the last four hours, I have wanted to go back to bed. My dad says I’m dog-sitting for now, which I am, plus my dad wants me ready by four because he wants me to help deliver leaflets with him. Around 700 – 800 of the 1,750 leaflets have been delivered so far, and I estimate another 300 – 400 will be delivered today.
Now, I’m going to make myself a large cup of tea to wake myself up some more.
