House Yamazaki was founded in 43,011 LY [the 43,011th year of Lunarian recorded history], which, if using Earth calendars, corresponds to 18,125 BCE. Every head of House Yamazaki has reigned until their deaths, apart from one, who died three years after.

House Yamazaki’s 1st head was Princess Asami I Yamazaki (born 42,882 LY; reigned 43,011 LY – 43,829 LY), who reigned for 818 years before she died and her daughter, Princess Chinatsu I became head of House Yamazaki. When House Yamazaki was founded in 43,011 LY [18,125 BCE], an election was held to determine who would be the head of the house and subsequently gain the title of Princess. An election to determine the head of a Great House within the Moon Kingdom only took place during the founding of said Great House. Asami won and became the 1st to rule House Yamazaki as its head. She knew that as the 1st leader of a Great House, she had to create an impression and gain support in order for House Yamazaki to gain strength and prosper into the future.
Princess Asami I was known for ruling with benevolence and for her kindness, which strengthened House Yamazaki in its early years and allowed it and its territories to expand through peaceful and friendly means. This trend carried on during the reign of her daughter, Princess Chinatsu I, despite other Great Houses vying to wipe House Yamazaki out in its infancy and claim House Yamazaki’s lands for their own. Princess Asami I was the 1st Sailor Lunaria to be the head of House Yamazaki, and her Sailor abilities helped her establish House Yamazaki as a strong House to be feared by enemies and admired by allies and citizens of House Yamazaki’s territory alike.
Princess Chinatsu I Yamazaki (born 43,532 LY; reigned 43,829 LY – 44,908 LY) reigned for 1,079 years, carrying on the work that her mother had done to strengthen House Yamazaki, along with making its territory a more prosperous one. While her mother was known for being the 1st head of House Yamazaki and for establishing it as a strong Great House, Princess Chinatsu I was known for her impressive leadership and skill in times of war, as a few Great Houses had sought to wipe out House Yamazaki and claim its territory for their own during her reign, only to fail and be wiped out themselves – their territory split up between House Yamazaki and those who had helped her. She utilised the land she gained from the wars to strengthen the economies of House Yamazaki’s territory, notably increasing the size of House Yamazaki’s armies and the food production the territory was capable of.
Inheriting leadership of a stronger House Yamazaki from her mother, Princess Chinatsu II (born 44,444 LY; reigned 44,908 LY – 45,174 LY) sought to finish what her mother, Princess Chinatsu I, had started, wiping out those Great Houses who vied to wipe out House Yamazaki while strengthening the bond between her house and allied houses at the same time. She managed to accomplish many of those feats in the relatively short time of 266 years that she reigned for, gaining herself a place in the history books as a warrior like Princess like her mother was. What feats she failed to accomplish during her reign was up to her daughter to complete.
Princess Chinatsu II was the 2nd Sailor Lunaria to be the head of House Yamazaki. The 1st
Princess Haruka I (born 44,909 LY; reigned 45,174 LY – 45,602 LY) was the eldest of the three daughters of Princess Chinatsu I. She had managed to complete what her mother, Princess Chinatsu II, and her grandmother, Princess Chinatsu I, had started. She succeeded in wiping out the forces of House Matsumoto, one of House Yamazaki’s biggest foes of the era. She didn’t have the powers of a Sailor Scout like her mother had, but she had a strong will and lots of determination. Once House Matsumoto was wiped out, House Yamazaki claimed their territory and all what was in it.
Princess Haruka I was interested in all things science, and she often spent her time reading about science and working out ways of using science to strengthen House Yamazaki and make its territories more prosperous. During her 428 year reign, she, along with others of the era, were able to improve the weapons of their armies, the food production of their farms, the way homes were built, and more. She did her best to try and best the other Great Houses technology wise.
Carrying on what her predecessors had done, Princess Haruka I expanded House Yamazaki’s territory towards the northern coast of the peninsula, managing to reach the northern coast in 45,276 LY [15,860 BCE] after years of fighting with House Kita, a smaller Great House that had declared war on House Yamazaki in 45,264 LY [15,872 BCE]. After her victory and House Yamazaki’s territorial expansion after wiping out House Kita, House Yamazaki was now in the position to establish a navy.
After 428 years of her mother reigning as head of House Yamazaki, Princess Hikaru I (born 45,354 LY; reigned 45,602 LY – 46,218 LY) became the head of House Yamazaki upon her mother’s death. During her 616 year reign, she focused on improving the relations between House Yamazaki and other Great Houses in the region. Capitalising on the coastal regions now within House Yamazaki’s territory, Princess Hikaru I allowed fishing to take place in the coastal areas, while also commissioning the first ships to be built, signalling the birth of House Yamazaki’s navy. House Yamazaki’s navy wasn’t strong enough to be used for war during her reign, so it instead patrolled the coastal regions of House Yamazaki’s territory while also fishing further out into the sea in order to boost food supplies.
Princess Hikaru I was the 3rd Sailor Lunaria to be head of House Yamazaki. She used her Sailor abilities to keep down the rate of crime within House Yamazaki’s territory, apprehending criminals whenever she spotted them. She also used them in war, using them to help expand House Yamazaki’s territory in the northwest during her reign, claiming more coastline as a result.
During her 384 year reign as head of House Yamazaki, she did not have much difficulty in expanding the territory controlled by House Yamazaki, which made it easy for her to expand House Yamazaki’s territory in the southwest. Apart from that, not much happened during her reign, although she did improve the weapons House Yamazaki’s armies and navies used for offensive and defensive purposes. Princess Chinatsu III (born 45,839 LY; reigned 46,218 LY – 46,602 LY) was interested in weaponry, and was eager to help whenever she could, particularly when it came to siege weapons.
The first trebuchets to be used by House Yamazaki were used during her reign. She was known for using them often, and trebuchets dotted the edges of House Yamazaki’s territory to help defend against enemy forces. She always made sure they were built with wheels so they could easily be moved at a moment’s notice without having to dismantle and rebuild them, and she also made sure that they could hurl projectiles weighing 90 kilograms over a distance of at least 300 metres. Her particular favourite was the counterweight trebuchet, and she strengthened House Yamazaki’s navy by equipping them on all the ships. She also made sure they were on every structure of strategic importance.
During her 554 year reign as head of House Yamazaki, Princess Megumi I (born 46,592 LY; reigned 46,602 LY – 47,156 LY) significantly expanded the territory controlled by House Yamazaki compared to the territorial expansions her ancestors undertook during their reigns as heads of House Yamazaki. As the 4th Sailor Lunaria to be the head of House Yamazaki, the task of expanding House Yamazaki’s territory and strengthening the house both offensively and defensively was made easier. Her mother’s interest in siege weaponry and subsequent development of said siege weaponry helped Princess Megumi I in her endeavours. During her reign, House Yamazaki expanded their territory in the southwest and the northeast, allowing increases in food production, the construction of more fortresses, and more fishing villages along the northern coast of their territory.
Princess Megumi I was the youngest to ever become the head of House Yamazaki, doing so at the age of 10. For the first few years of her reign, she needed guidance. She was not as interested in siege weaponry as her mother was, but she made sure that she kept the designs alive and made sure that the siege engines used by House Yamazaki were maintained and more were built. She didn’t use them much while expanding House Yamazaki’s territory during her reign as there wasn’t any fortresses or castles in the territory gained by House Yamazaki during her reign.
Princess Hotaru I’s (born 46,597 LY; reigned 47,156 LY – 47,282 LY) reign was a comparatively short reign compared to the reigns of her predecessors as head of House Yamazaki, as her reign was only 126 years long. Her elder sister, Princess Megumi I, had reigned for 554 years, 428 years longer. Her reign was marred with territorial losses in the west to House Ito, a Great House hostile to House Yamazaki that occupied much of the west of the peninsula. House Ito had declared war on House Yamazaki for unknown reasons midway into Princess Hotaru I’s reign. During her reign, House Yamazaki lost more battles than they won due to her thinking that House Yamazaki would be able to fend for themselves without the assistance of allies. During one of the battles to try and reclaim territory in the west that was lost to House Ito, Princess Hotaru I was killed in a battle, 46 years into the war, leaving behind a young daughter. The daughter, being 27 years old, was the second youngest in House Yamazaki’s history to become head of House Yamazaki, a record which would not be broken for over ten thousand years.
Ascending to the throne of House Yamazaki at the young age of 27 years after the death of her mother, Princess Hotaru I, in a battle against House Ito, she was the second youngest to do so. The war against House Ito had been raging for 46 years by the time Princess Hotaru II (born 47,255 LY; reigned 47,282 LY – 47,819 LY) became the head of House Yamazaki. In a fit of rage and wanting to avenge her mother’s death, she spent much of her time training and planning. She took part in numerous battles against House Ito, showing no mercy at all towards her enemies. As a result of her actions, during her reign, House Yamazaki made significant advancements in the west.
House Yamazaki’s navy was at a sufficient strength to use in war after the invention of the cannon in 47,314 LY and the subsequent installation of cannons on fortresses, castles and ships used by House Yamazaki in 47,359 LY once the technology had reached their part of the world. The use of cannons by House Yamazaki gave them a tactical advantage on the sea, but Princess Hotaru II wasn’t confident that they could be used for amphibious assaults, so instead she ordered that they be used to attack House Ito’s coastal regions to ensure that House Yamazaki retained naval superiority in the war.
Princess Hotaru II was the 5th Sailor Lunaria to be the head of House Yamazaki. Her Sailor abilities helped her in her expansion west as revenge against House Ito for killing her mother in battle.
The war between House Yamazaki and House Ito had been raging for 583 years and counting by the time Princess Hotaru II passed away and her daughter, Princess Asami II (born 47,777 LY; reigned 47,819 LY – 48,077 LY), ascended to the throne of House Yamazaki and became the head of House Yamazaki. By the time she became head of House Yamazaki, she knew that the war against House Ito would be a war lasting millennia, and so she set out to ensure that during her reign, House Yamazaki performed admirably. During her reign, not as much territory was gained by House Yamazaki as was gained during her mother’s reign, although the front line had advanced in the southwest during her reign. Technological advancements needed to be made over time to ensure that House Yamazaki did not capitulate.
During Princess Asami II’s reign, improvements were made to the armour and weapons of the soldiers of House Yamazaki’s army, and the ships in House Yamazaki’s navy were improved, incorporating designs and technology from ships of House Ito’s navy captured by House Yamazaki during naval skirmishes. At some point during her reign, the city of Kaigan was founded on the northern coast of House Yamazaki’s territory, and its economy thrived on shipbuilding and fishing.
By the time Princess Asami III (born 48,000 LY; reigned 48,077 LY – 48,221 LY) ascended to the throne of House Yamazaki and became the head of House Yamazaki after her mother, Princess Asami II, died, the war declared on House Yamazaki by House Ito in 47,236 LY had been raging for 841 years and counting. During her reign, House Yamazaki lost some territory in the west to House Ito after they managed to push back House Yamazaki’s forces, making some think that the tide was turning against House Yamazaki in the war.
Both House Yamazaki and House Ito continued to develop new technology, but House Ito was the first to develop muskets, putting House Yamazaki at a disadvantage. After a while, House Yamazaki had raided a weapons cache belonging to House Ito and from there, began to reverse engineer the new technology, eventually creating muskets of their own. This prevented House Ito from advancing further into House Yamazaki’s territory. Princess Asami III was the 2nd head of House Yamazaki to be killed in a battle and the 2nd to be killed in the war against House Ito.
The war between House Yamazaki and House Ito had been raging for 985 years and counting by the time Princess Asami IV (born 48,056 LY; reigned 48,221 LY – 48,582 LY) ascended to the throne of House Yamazaki and became head of House Yamazaki after her mother, Princess Asami III was killed in a battle against House Ito on the western front in an attempt to recapture territory that was lost to House Ito. In response to the death of her mother, Princess Asami IV ordered that defenses be increased and improved, and that armour capable of withstanding musket fire be developed as well.
It was around this time that the printing press had been invented, and that House Yamazaki made first contact with other Great Houses on the planet, exchanging technology and other items. As a result, the first maps of the world were being printed. House Yamazaki was on positive terms with the Great Houses in other parts of the world they had made first contact with, such as House Tsukino, House Aino, House Hino, House Mizuno, House Tenou, House Tomoe, House Meiou, and House Kaiou.
Princess Asami IV was the 6th Sailor Lunaria to be the head of House Yamazaki. As a result of House Yamazaki’s exploration of other parts of the world and subsequent discovery of other principalities ruled by other Great Houses, the population of House Yamazaki’s territory learned of the existence of numerous other Sailor Scouts, each the heads of their own Great Houses.
After her mother’s 361 year reign as the head of House Yamazaki, Princess Keiko I (born 48,327 LY; reigned 48,582 LY – 49,118 LY) ascended to the throne of House Yamazaki and became the head of House Yamazaki. By the time she became the head of House Yamazaki, the war between House Yamazaki and House Ito had been raging for 1,346 years and counting, having started in 47,236 LY during the reign of her great-great-great-grandmother, Princess Hotaru I. She was the 6th head of House Yamazaki to reign during the war against House Ito, and the 13th head of House Yamazaki in the history of House Yamazaki. Although no land was successfully taken by House Yamazaki from House Ito during her 536 year reign, House Yamazaki did gain a small amount of land in the east, meaning a bigger coastline.
Princess Keiko I kept on the defensive during her reign, managing to prevent House Ito from taking any territory. While on the defensive, House Yamazaki fortified itself and developed technology, notably improving the muskets House Yamazaki used, as well as the trebuchets used as well. During Princess Keiko I’s reign, telescopes, pendulum clocks, newspapers and barometers were invented.
In 49,118 LY, Princess Haruka II (born 48,957 LY; reigned 49,118 LY – 49,857 LY) ascended to the throne and became the head of House Yamazaki. By then, the war between House Yamazaki and House Ito had been raging for 1,882 years since her great-great-great-great-grandmother, Princess Hotaru I, was the head of House Yamazaki.
The war, having claimed the lives of Princess Hotaru I (Princess Haruka II’s great-great-great-great-grandmother) and Princess Asami III (Princess Haruka II’s great-grandmother), did not seem like it was going to end. Nevertheless, Princess Haruka II persisted and during her reign, managed to seize some territory in the west from House Ito, capturing one of their ports in the process. During her reign, Princess Haruka II named House Yamazaki’s territory Uesutoheddorando, meaning “West Headland”.
In 49,857 LY , Princess Michiru I (born 49,584 LY; reigned 49,857 LY – 50,294 LY) ascended to the throne of House Yamazaki, becoming the head of House Yamazaki, the 8th Princess of House Yamazaki to reign during the war against House Ito that had been raging for 2,621 years and counting, since it started in 47,236 LY. Princess Michiru I was the 7th Sailor Lunaria to reign as the Princess of House Yamazaki, the 3rd Sailor Lunaria of the war against House Ito.
Princess Michiru I knew that focusing on pushing westward would incur large amounts of casualties, but she also knew that like her ancestors that fought in the war against House Ito, she should at least try to take some territory from them, and she did. During her reign, Princess Michiru I focused on expanding southward in an effort to strengthen House Yamazaki and more importantly, to prevent House Ito from expanding along the south coast and establishing a foothold to the east of Uesutoheddorando [House Yamazaki’s territory].
When Princess Hoshi I (born 50,000 LY; reigned 50,294 LY – 50,928 LY) ascended to the throne of House Yamazaki and became the head of House Yamazaki, the became the 9th head of House Yamazaki to reign during the war against House Ito, which by 50,294 LY, had been raging for 3,058 years and counting. She followed in her mother’s footsteps of expanding southward to prevent House Ito from establishing a foothold east of Uesutoheddorando, but also decided to expand west, seizing territory from House Ito.
During her reign, the city of Baria, located in the west of Uesutoheddorando, was founded. Due to its proximity to House Ito’s territory, it was a walled city, with lots of defensive structures on the thick wall, evenly distributed. The gates that allowed access into the city were thick steel gates that was guarded at all times.
When Princess Haruka III (born 50,527 LY; reigned 50,928 LY – 51,759 LY) ascended to the throne of House Yamazaki in 50,928 LY, the war between House Yamazaki and House Ito had been raging for 3,692 years and counting. She was the 10th Princess of House Yamazaki to reign during their war against House Ito, plus she was the 8th Sailor Lunaria to be the head of House Yamazaki, plus she was the 17th to reign in House Yamazaki’s history.
She followed the methods of her mother when it came to expansion. She expanded House Yamazaki’s territory south so it almost bordered a lake near the south coast, plus she expanded west, seizing a small amount of territory from House Ito. At around this time, the muskets used by both sides evolved into flintlock rifles as technology developed. Due to House Yamazaki developing the technology first, expansion was made fairly easy for her.
When Princess Setsuna I (born 51,328 LY; reigned 51,759 LY – 52,754 LY) ascended to the throne of House Yamazaki in 51,759 LY, the war between House Yamazaki and House Ito had been raging for 4,523 years and counting. She was the 11th Princess of House Yamazaki to reign during the war against House Ito, plus she was the 18th to reign in House Yamazaki’s history. During her reign, a smaller peninsula to the north of House Yamazaki’s territory [Uesutoheddorando] was colonised and the city of Higashi Kaigan was founded on its southern coast in 52,135 LY. Since the city was relatively safe from being besieged by House Ito’s forces, the population spent much of their time developing new technology to further Uesutoheddorando’s technological superiority.
When Princess Megumi II (born 52,023 LY; reigned 52,754 LY – 53,496 LY) ascended to the throne of House Yamazaki and became the head of House Yamazaki in 52,754 LY , the war between House Yamazaki and House Ito had been raging for 5,518 years later. By this point in the war against House Ito, House Yamazaki had somewhat more territory than their foe did. She was the 12th to reign as Princess of House Yamazaki during the war against House Ito; she was the 19th to rule as the Princess of House Yamazaki; plus she was the 9th Sailor Lunaria to be the head of House Yamazaki. During her reign, Uesutoheddorando expanded in all directions, allowing passage to Higashi Kaigan without the use of boats. The Moon Kingdom’s industrial revolution took place during her reign.
Princess Megumi III (born 52,792 LY; reigned 53,496 LY – 54,478 LY) ascended to the throne of House Yamazaki and became the head of House Yamazaki in 53,496 LY, becoming the 13th Princess of House Yamazaki to reign during the war against House Ito, plus she was the 19th to reign House Yamazaki in it’s history.
The industrial revolution that took hold of the Moon Kingdom during the reign of Princess Megumi III changed the war between House Yamazaki and House Ito. Wooden ships, trebuchets, and musket rifles became prefabricated steel ships, howitzers, mortars and bolt-action rifles. Princess Megumi’s reign also oversaw the invention of batteries, locomotives, photography, calculators, code, antiseptics, anaesthesia, dishwashers, fiber optics, combustion engines, washing machines, dynamite, plastic, air brakes, typewriters, barbed wire, movies, motor vehicles, and more.
Uesutoheddorando [House Yamazaki’s territory] expanded in all directions during the reign of Princess Megumi III. In the east, Higashi Kaigan was many miles from the border. In the south, a large portion of the southern coast was incorporated into Uesutoheddorando’s territory, including the entirety of the small lake in the south. In the west, House Ito had lost a lot of territory.
When Princes Miyako I (born 53,494 LY; reigned 54,478 LY – 54,633 LY) ascended to the throne of House Yamazaki and became the head of House Yamazaki in 54,478 LY, she became the 14th Princess of House Yamazaki to reign during the war against House Ito, and the 21st to reign House Yamazaki in its history. At this point in the war, which had been raging for 6,260 years by the time Princess Miyako I became the head of House Yamazaki. There was small border changes for Uesutoheddorando during Princess Miyako I’s reign.
In the east, there were small boundary changes. Along the south coast, some more of it was claimed by House Yamazaki. In the west, however, House Ito was becoming desperate as they were quickly losing territory, and they responded by pushing hard to reclaim any amount of territory. Many items were invented throughout the Moon Kingdom during Princess Miyako I’s reign, including air conditioning, planes, radar, radio broadcasting, bras, gun silences, neon lamps, assembly line production, heading aids, submachine guns, hair dryers, vacuum cleaners, televisions, liquid fuel rockets, artificial life, helicopters, and more.
The year the bra was invented within the Moon Kingdom, news and sales of bras were high as the news spread like fire through the majority-female population of the Moon Kingdom. Princess Miyako I was the 1st Princess of House Yamazaki to wear bras, and her reign saw them evolve from full-cup bras to bullet bras to plunge bras. The types of bras diversified wildly within a century of their advent. All in a variety of colours and designs and made with varying materials, and with varying degrees of cuteness. The same with panties. Princess Miyako I preferred bras and panties that were cute and feminine, yet comfortable.
Princess Megumi IV (born 54,126 LY; reigned 54,633 LY – 55,690 LY) became the 15th Princess of House Yamazaki to reign during the war against House Ito, and the 22nd to reign House Yamazaki in its history. By the time her reign started, the war against House Ito had been raging for 7,397 years and counting. Technology continued to evolve. The first Lunarian nuclear reactors and nuclear weapons were developed during her reign, as were bikinis, microwave ovens, automation, atomic clocks, contraceptives, and contact lenses.
During Princess Megumi IV’s reign, little territory was gained in the east as efforts were focused in the west. House Ito managed to gain a small amount of territory, but Uesutoheddorando [House Yamazaki’s territory] expanded around as if they were preparing to trap the House Ito forces that had advanced.
During the reign of Princess Kyoko I (born 54,922 LY; reigned 55,690 LY – 55,929 LY), House Yamazaki advanced west further into House Ito’s territory. House Ito suffered major territorial losses against House Yamazaki, and the likelihood of House Ito losing the war that had been raging for 8,454 years and counting was increasing. Princess Kyoko I was the 16th Princess of House Yamazaki to reign during the war against House Ito and the 23rd to reign House Yamazaki in its history.
Technology continued to advance, and although House Yamazaki had developed nuclear weapons during Princess Kyoko I’s reign, they refrained from using them against other principalities. Instead, House Yamazaki decided to use them to power rockets in space. The first satellites of the Moon Kingdom were invented and built during this era. Miniskirts, lasers, video games, microchips, the internet, LCDs, personal computers, genetic engineering and more were invented during Princess Kyoko I’s reign.
Princess Kyoko I was the 10th Sailor Lunaria to be the head of House Yamazaki.
During the reign of Princess Kyoko II (born 55,407 LY; reigned 55,929 LY – 56,847 LY), House Yamazaki continued to push further into House Ito’s territory. As a result, House Ito suffered yet more territorial losses and the ending of their house seemed imminent to them, which would end the war that had been raging for 8,693 years. The city of Miyakonojo, once a stronghold of House Ito, fell into the hands of House Yamazaki and was then declared the capital city of Uesutoheddorando, a title the city would hold for millennia.
In-vitro fertilisation, abortion pills, disposable contact lenses, surgical robotics, and GPS were some of the things invented during the reign of Princess Kyoko II. Surgical robotics helped reduce the number of casualties incurred by House Yamazaki while fighting House Ito.
When Princess Michiko I (born 56,188 LY; reigned 56,847 LY – 56,948 LY) ascended to the throne of House Yamazaki, she became the 18th and last Princess of House Yamazaki to reign during the war against House Ito which had been raging for 9,611 years by the time she ascended to the throne, the 25th Princess of House Yamazaki in its history, and the 11th Sailor Lunaria to be the head of House Yamazaki. At some point during the reign of Princess Michiko I, House Ito was wiped out and all their remaining territory conquered. The war ended up lasting a total of 9,632 years.
After House Ito was wiped out and their reigning Princess, Princess Wakako III, was killed in the final battle of the war along with almost all of House Ito’s remaining forces, House Yamazaki focused in expanding in the east.
Princess Megumi V (born 56,722 LY; reigned 56,948 LY – 57,335 LY) was the first to reign after the war against House Ito that ended during the reign of her mother when House Ito was wiped out. She was also the 26th Princess of House Yamazaki to reign House Yamazaki in its history. Since House Yamazaki had already expanded as much as they could in the west, expansion efforts focused in the east, seizing control of the largest lake in the peninsula, located in the south, as well as the second largest lake in the peninsula, located in the north.
Uesutoheddorando became more peaceful as the war against House Ito was ended with the extinction of House Ito during the reign of Princess Megumi V’s mother, Princess Michiko I. The death toll for the war against House Ito was in the tens of millions over the period of 9,611 years that the war took place, including the heads of Great Houses. Due to technological advancements throughout the Moon Kingdom during the reign of Princess Megumi V, the Moon Kingdom became a Type I civilization on the Kardashev scale.
During the reign of Princess Asami V (born 56,929 LY; reigned 57,335 LY – 57,964 LY), technology continued to advance and House Yamazaki expanded in the northeast, taking control of four small lakes in the northeast. It was during Princess Asami V’s reign as the head of House Yamazaki that the Moon Kingdom became warp capable as the first ships capable of going faster than light were invented. The Moon Kingdom’s warp drive inventor was called Shoko Deguchi, an engineer and scientist who lived in the city that would later become Crystal Tokyo. House Yamazaki also created their first warp-capable ships during the reign of Princess Asami V, although none of them were used to visit celestial bodies.
During the reign of Princess Hoshi II (born 57,592 LY; reigned 57,964 LY – 58,921) technology continued to advance. During her reign, the Moon Kingdom’s first missions to other celestial bodies, both manned and unmanned, took place. House Yamazaki, while they did develop their space program, was not the first Great House of the Moon Kingdom to do so. All of the Great Houses of the Moon Kingdom had their own space programs, which altogether formed the Moon Kingdom’s space program. During the reign of Princess Hoshi II, House Yamazaki’s territory [Uesutoheddorando] gained significant amounts of territory in the east with the help of new technology recently developed.
During the reign of Princess Hoshi III (born 58,303 LY; reigned 58,921 LY – 59,304 LY), House Yamazaki’s space program ventured into the establishment of colonies on other worlds as well as the mining of asteroids in order to strengthen House Yamazaki. As a result, a significant amount of territory was annexed by House Yamazaki during her reign. Some portions of the border remained where they were for a few millennia. Within the borders, House Yamazaki was developing all through the peninsula, particularly in the east, which was not nearly as populated as the west was. Due to the establishment of colonies on other planets and moons by the various Great Houses of the Moon Kingdom and, the Lunarians that made up the vast majority of the population of the Moon Kingdom greatly reduced their chances of extinction.
During the reign of Princess Naoko I (born 58,739 LY; reigned 59,304 LY – 59,632 LY), House Yamazaki gained territory yet again. The territory held by House Yamazaki by the time Princess Naoko I died in 59,632 LY remained unchanged for millennia. The city of Mauntenmeroporisu was founded during the reign of Princess Naoko I in the mountains that were located in the east of Uesutoheddorando. These mountains were the most easterly and the only mountains within House Yamazaki’s territory. During her reign, there was another surge in technological advancement. One of the many technologies invented during the reign of Princess Naoko I was a solar array efficient enough that it caused electricity prices to plummet to far lower than they ever had been before. Another invention was artificial gravity, which would soon lead to anti-gravity items a century afterwards.
A third was the emergence of far more advanced atmospheric suits. The fourth was basic terraforming equipment. The fifth was stasis equipment. These technological advancements cemented the Moon Kingdom’s status as a Type I civilization on the Kardashev scale, and allowed the Moon Kingdom to progress towards becoming a Type II civilization.. During Naoko I’s reign, warp capable ships were upgraded so that by the time of her death, they were now capable of reaching Warp 8.5, which is equivalent to 1,253c (or 1,253 times the speed of light).
During the reign of Princess Megumi VI (born 59,323 LY; born 59,632 LY – 60,131 LY), the borders of House Yamazaki’s territory [Uesutoheddorando] remained unchanged but Uesutoheddorando continued to develop in the east. The city of Reikushiti was founded on the eastern shores of the largest lake in Uesutoheddorando. Also during Princess Megumi VI’s reign, Airandoshiti was founded on the southernmost islands of Uesutoheddorando, quickly becoming known as a holiday resort throughout the Moon Kingdom. Meanwhile, Mauntenmeroporisu was developing and expanding, becoming one of the largest cities in House Yamazaki’s eastern territory.
During the reign of Princess Yumiko I (born 59,628 LY; reigned 60,131 LY – 60,381), more cities began to be founded in the east of Uesutoheddorando during the 250 years that she reigned. In the very northern parts of House Yamazaki’s territory, the city of Yamazakishi was founded on the very northern coast of Uesutoheddorando, and like Airandoshiti which was founded during the reign of Princess Yumiko I’s mother, Princess Megumi VI, it also became known as a holiday resort. Yamazakishi, like Airandoshiti, quickly grew in size due to it being known as a holiday resort.
To the southeast, the city of Kiti was founded.
Princess Setsuna II (born 60,000 LY; reigned 60,381 LY – 60,882 LY) was the 33rd head of House Yamazaki. During the reign of Princess Setsuna II, the population of the Moon Kingdom reached 10,000,000,000 people, of which around 25-30% were on Lunaria itself while the rest were on colonies that were established on other planets and moons. During the reign of Princess Setsuna II, advancements in technology allow the first floating cities and other infrastructure to be built in the upper atmospheres of the gas giants within the Moon Kingdom’s territory. It was a while before people started to inhabit the floating cities as they were worried the technology would be prone to failure.
Princess Megumi VII (born 60,362 LY; reigned 60,882 LY – 61,107 LY) was the 34th head of House Yamazaki. During her reign, the populations of the floating cities in the upper atmospheres of the gas giants within the Moon Kingdom’s territory increased dramatically, causing more to be built. This was due to advancements in technology reducing the chances of something failing, helped in part by backup systems. Advancements in technology in other areas was quickly pushing the Moon Kingdom towards becoming a Type II civilization on the Kardashev scale. Type II civilizations are civilizations capable of harnessing the power of entire stars, as opposed to Type I civilizations, which are only capable of harnessing the power of entire planets.
Princess Toshiko I (born 60,823 LY; reigned 61,107 LY – 62,171 LY) was the 35th head of House Yamazaki. Technology continued to advance further, and the cities within House Yamazaki’s territories continued to grow and prosper, including House Yamazaki’s territories that weren’t on the home world. The Moon Kingdom, on the Kardashev scale, was at around 1.87 and steadily rising. Numerous planets and moons in nearly a dozen star systems were colonised by the Moon Kingdom. During the reign of Toshiko I, the Moon Kingdom made first contact with the Kingdom of Hyrule as well as the Mushroom Kingdom, both Type I civilizations heading towards becoming Type II civilizations. Good diplomatic relations were had between those two kingdoms and the Moon Kingdom, and relations only increased as time went by. Both the Kingdom of Hyrule [which has a billions strong population over a few star system mostly comprised of Hylians] and the Mushroom Kingdom [population billions strong, although made up of hundreds of different species living in harmony amongst each other] had established embassies in the city that would later become Crystal Tokyo. The Moon Kingdom established embassies in their respective capitals as well.
Princess Megumi VIII (born 61,004 LY; reigned 62,171 LY – 62,632 LY) was the 36th head of House Yamazaki. During the reign of Megumi VIII, the Moon Kingdom became a Type II civilization, according to the Kardashev scale. Its allies, the Kingdom of Hyrule and the Mushroom Kingdom were not far behind in technological advancement. Although the Moon Kingdom developed the ability to harness the power of a star during House Yamazaki’s reign by Megumi VIII, there were intense debates about whether to build dyson spheres. After a couple decades of debating about the pros and cons of such a feat, it was decided that dyson spheres would be constructed, but only around stars within the Moon Kingdom’s territory that didn’t have planets orbiting it.
Princess Miyako II (born 61,832 LY; reigned 62,632 LY – 63,035 LY) was the 37th head of House Yamazaki. During the reign of Miyako II, the mother of the infamous Rin I, construction of the first dyson sphere created by the Moon Kingdom had started. At around the same time, the first androids were being built as well, coincidentally bearing a similarity to the Soong-type androids the United Federation of Planets would build eleven centuries later [although with a different external appearance]. These androids, built by the millions, were all different and all had personalities and names of their own, just like Lunarians did. These androids, among many things, increased the size of the Lunarian Guard [the exploratory and defensive service maintained by the Moon Kingdom, not unlike the Federation’s Starfleet] as well as massively sped up construction of the Moon Kingdom’s first dyson sphere. This dyson sphere was built around a red dwarf within the Moon Kingdom’s territory that didn’t have planets orbiting it.
Princess Rin I (born 62,344 LY; reigned 63,035 LY – 63,203 LY; died 63,206 LY) was the 38th head of House Yamazaki. She was the most infamous and hated of all the Princess of all the Great Houses in the history of the Moon Kingdom due to her actions during her reign, which culminated in her daughter, Princess Megumi declaring a state of civil war after Princess Rin I’s extremely hostile reaction to Princess Megumi’s coming out to her as her transgender daughter. The hostile reaction was the catalyst that resulted in the civil war, and ultimately, Princess Rin I’s arrest and depositon in 63,203 LY, followed by her death three years later. The civil war wasn’t just contained to the home world, as it occurred throughout territory within the Moon Kingdom held by House Yamazaki.
Princess Megumi IX (born 63,181 LY; reigned since 63,203 LY) is the 39th and current head of House Yamazaki. She came to be the head of House Yamazaki after the end of a brutal civil war fought between forces loyal to herself and forces loyal to her biological mother, the infamous Princess Rin I. The brutal civil war involved the entirety of the home world, claimed upwards of 1,000,000 lives, and reduced multiple cities to rubble, one of which would end up being abandoned to the forces of nature at the conclusion of the civil war. At the start of the civil war, House Hagino, House Shimada, and House Yamamoto declared that they would fight alongside Princess Rin I while the other Great Houses on the home world declared that they would fight alongside Princess Megumi IX. After more than a year of a brutal civil war, eventually resulting in Rin I and her supporters being wiped out, as they refused to surrender, saying they would fight to the very end.
